Forgive Mrs. Pelosi She Was Born With a Liberal Foot in Her Mouth

Is it just me or are liberals becoming characitures of themselves? It seems they oppose anything that comes from Republicans and more specifically from President Bush. The minority leader has gone to the airwaves to express her disgust for the detainee bill. She has stated that if such a bill passes it will lead to the permanent damage to our constitution. Rep. Pelosi D-California, as if that was not obvious, went on to say that we should adopt the golden rule on these matters so the terrorists will treat us the same as we treat them. I get so sick of the liberal lunacy that suggests we need to adopt a terrorist bill of rights. These are individuals with a perverted view of religion who want to destry us the Western infidels and we are supposed to afford them constitution protections. Apparently Mrs. Pelosi is ignorant to the fact that these people want more than to see us dead or recruited into their religion. Mrs. Pelosi much also be blind to the fact that these killers have tortured and killed many including mutilating two U.S. soldiers not so long ago. I think liberals need to take a good hard look at what they believe and ask themselves who side they are on. When the President Bush has to remind them that their first responsibility is to protect this country and its citizens we have a problem.

As gas prices fall Republican hopes rise

Democrats were very confident about their hopes to reclaim their congressional power in this upcoming election year. Democrats were so confident that they were already referring to each other with new titles like speaker of the house Pelosi and Chairman Rangel. As I thought of that possibility it was enough to make me cringe and a little sick to my stomach. But for a few weeks now gas prices have fallen dramatically and with it Republican chances of maintaining control of congress seems more certain. Poll numbers over the past weeks have shown more support for Republican candidates as the price of gas has fallen to lows we have not seen in many months. Some are now suggesting that their is a conspiracy by the oil companies to lower prices to help Republicans stay in power. I wonder why then the oil companies would raise prices not so long ago. I guess after being blamed for the dramatic rise in gas prices President Bush should receive the credit for lowering them. People need to realize that the president does not set oil prices but it is a result of speculators calculating conditions all over the world like unrest in the middle east and other regions and the supply. If somehow people want to attach politicians to gas prices that is fine and then those people can throw their support to Republicans to ensure a vital victory this fall.
