Kerry Endorses Obama
Massachusetts Senator and former candidate for president John Kerry endorsed Barack Obama for president. Some may find the endorsement surprising considering Kerry's running mate, John Edwards, is still in the race. Perhaps Senator Kerry like everyone else realizes the futility of the Edwards campaign and sees this as a two dog race between Obama and Hillary. Obama might want to ask for a favor from his newest endorser. Many see Edwards as splitting votes from Obama as both compete for the change vote. The sooner Edwards drops out the better for Obama.
